Andrew and Melissa Wedding Day at the Queens County Farm

Sometime in January of this year I sat down with the high energized, bubbly Melissa. Her personality is radiant that I know she has many people who attract to her daily. I know her fiancĂ© must have been hypnotized by the bright smile because I sure was upon our first meeting. I was referred to her by my good friend Normel Jean Pierre (who's wedding will be coming up too). Melissa is the type of bride that commands attention. I soon found out Melissa was a corporate event planner so she knew firsthand the need for a coordinator. She wanted to make sure someone could oversee her vision on the wedding day by putting it altogether.

We've talked about her design concepts for the wedding in our initial meeting and through email. This girl sure has a creative mind. At first it started off small then it began to increase over the months to which meant more details to include in her file. Melissa booked her wedding at the Queens County Farm not too far from my house. I was excited because it was not the conventional style of weddings I normally coordinate. I knew I needed to bring my girls Jenny and Rochelle to help me pull it together.

Much of Melissa's inspiration evolved from the farm by using beautiful citrus colors then to picking out her flowers. She also introduced me to Wed It. Wed It Cams were a perfect way to get your guests involved during your wedding of video recording footage from every area on the wedding day. How cool is that? Melissa also booked the perfect photographer to shoot her wedding. Emma Cleary has an amazing eye for detail and creativity. There are so many wonderful shots to really give you the feel on the wedding day.

The wedding day was exactly how she imagined. I wanted to make sure all of her details we're laid out but every time I turned around we kept on finding more stuff to decorate in each bin labeled. Lol. The food provided by Bon Soir Caterers was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend anyone to use their services for an event.
It was fun and Melissa and Andrew were a great couple to work with. I thank you for allowing me to coordinate your wedding and to share part in this special day with your family and friends. I wish you the best in the future!
