Mary & Trae Christmas Wedding

When I first met with Mary we’ve talked for three hours in her home about the last minute details to her wedding. Then at the moment she told me her wedding would be Christmas themed, I was ecstatic!! To meet someone who had a passion for Christmas like myself was love at first sight for me.

I held Mary’s hand throughout the last two months to her wedding day. She needed to book videographer and limousine company for my company to execute the details on the day of her wedding.

My videographer Eddie Kantis of Blue Moon Video Productions was able to provide us with a highlight of Mary & Trae beautiful Christmas wedding! From the beautiful ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary to the exquisite reception held at Dyker Beach Golf Club in Brooklyn, Mary's wedding was a spectacular Event!

Paula & Thomas Harlem Renaissance Wedding

I was so excited to meet up with one of my favorite friends/photographers David Myles at a Café to receive the images of one of the sweetest brides I had to pleasure of working with Paula Syphrett. To think about it now we also met together with Paula during the initial consultation.
When I first spoke to Paula over the phone I knew David would be the perfect photographer for her wedding. He takes special notice to his clients by getting to know them and their wedding party. Paula immediately fell in love with his style.

This wedding took place in the historical streets of Harlem. There ceremony was held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and the reception at the Alhambra Ballroom in Harlem.

I even had the opportunity to work with the celebrity florist Patrick of City Iris . Check out his work.

Paula's lovely sister Adrienne (below) designed all of the programs, favors and escort cards.

Helen & Hon Wedding

Shanelle's Thoughts

Me and Helen were email addicts. I didn't think anyone could compete with me and my short novels. But I have met my match! Throughout the planning I've learned so much about her culture and the meaning of family.

Every meeting ended with food. I was in heaven!! She didn't know my favorite cuisine was Chinese but she learned of it soon enough.

I couldn't contain the joy I felt on the day of Helen & Hon's wedding. They were a pleasing couple to work with. And the details to her wedding day were beautiful as you will see below.

Not only did I gain a new client but I gained a friend for life.

Manuel's Thoughts

Hon and Helen defined affection in its purest form. In their eyes you can see deep devotion for one another, it is amazing. When I first met Hon and Helen, their sense of humor and hospitality was unforgettable. They made you feel comfortable around them. Hon would make funny gestures, and laugh joyously, while Helen tells jokes about anything that was on her mind. I enjoyed my relationship with the couple because they were very informative and precise about the decor, detail, and flow of their Wedding. Hon's primary focus on the wedding was celebration and accommodation.

He wanted to have as many of his family and friends present on their special day and share the intimacy him and Helen have. Helen, wanted to accentuate beauty, color, and originality in her wedding decor in the tiniest and simplest form. Together their combination of love, affection, and devotion made their day beautiful and I am thankful to work with such an amazing couple.

Mandy & Dave Central Park Wedding

When I received an email from Mandy Harris about doing a wedding in July at Central Wedding I was thrilled. Mandy didn’t ask for much, she just wanted something elegant and beautiful.

Mandy and Dave Taggart both visited Central Park on New Year’s Eve while on vacation and she immediately fell in love with the park. She knew at that very moment it would be the place she'll be having her wedding.

Mandy resided in California and needed someone to assist in her planning process. I scheduled conference call after conference call to make sure Mandy was comfortable with each one of my vendors.

They were a very fun couple to work with. I felt the LOVE while we traveled to the Marriage Bureau a few days before their wedding.

I did not have to worry about photography because they flew in a great friend of theirs Chet Frohlich whose work speaks for itself as you will see through every detailed photo.

Every detail was in place. My girls from DeVenir Beauty did both Mandy and her sister Shelby's hair and makeup. The flowers were designed by Dyker Heights Floral to perfection. The bride’s grand entrance was played by Venus Ensemble Musician's. The ceremony was ministered by Reverend Ann Corbett. Then to close the evening off my cake baker Erika of Chic Sugars designed a beautiful wedding cake for the couple.

Tricia & Nigel Roberts Wedding

Shanelle's Thoughts:

Tricia Roberts wedding was one of my most talked about weddings. I bonded with Tricia from day one. We talked daily through email and over the phone. I held her hand throughout the entire process. She gave me a better perspective on having fun while planning.

She added a bit of flavor to her wedding by incorporating her culture. As a surprise to her groom she wore a traditional Sari and came out to do a dance. Everyone were in awe!!

Check out the smile on her face throughout the pictures. You gotta love this woman!

And all of her vendors showed the same amount of dedication throughout the day. Come and check out the photos taken by the wonderful Jose Reyes!

Manuel's Thoughts:

When I first met Nigel and Tricia Roberts, I had but one word to describe them, and that was authenticity. Their love for each other is authentic, it is too real. The moment I was introduced to Tricia, she made me feel comfortable, as though I had known her for years. When she explained how Nigel and her met, it was like fate or destiny. Though most of us believe we make our own but this couple had a force pulling them together that was bigger then our own.

The professional and personal level with this couple was strategized with organization, communication and trust. The little details meant the most to Tricia and that was what I concentrated on the most. The little details made the biggest significance on their wedding day.

Details strategized and executed. I enjoyed working with this couple because they were completely different from one another, but yet complimented each other well. Thank You Nigel and Tricia, I learned from you that the most important thing in life is to learn how to release love, and accept it when it comes in.
