Rose and Tunji Nigerian Wedding

This is part 2 to the celebration of Rose and Tunji's festivities. We previously coordinated their traditional Nigerian Engagement Party and now we're coordinating their wedding day!

We have become very familiar with the couples' family and wedding party. It was a clear air of peace because they trusted us. They were all comfortable and confident of our services. As a wedding planner you're always speaking and working with the couple mostly so the family does not know you or anything of your abilities. The Engagement Party gave us the opportunity to break the mystery they formed towards us.

Rose looked so beautiful from the time I walked into the house while she was getting prepared. It was a really hot day but that didn't bother Rose. Her spirit is so pure and nothing would be able to corrupt it. My assistant Cynthia and myself had to stop by the florist to pick up the wedding party's bouquets before we reached the church to lineup the wedding party. Upon arrival to the church my Senior Coordinator Manuel had begun line up so I was able to take a quick glimpse of Tunji's face as he saw Rose down the aisle and it was memorable. The rest of my staff (Jenny, Lizette and Normel) were at the reception to complete the decorations of the hall and to wait upon the arrival of their guests. The wedding turned out beautiful and the entire family had smiles on their faces entire time that confirmed a job well done! We even partied with the family at the end of the night since we have become family!

Thank you Rose and Tunji for allowing us to coordinate your wedding!

Rose and Tunji's Traditional Nigerian Engagement Party

Rose and Tunji were the type of couple you wanted to do anything they requested. And their family made you feel like one of their own children. The engagement party was a week before the wedding so we had so much to do in such a little bit of time.

We took care of the decorations, to bartending, coordinating the flow of the event and to cleaning up.

We had a huge turn out for the engagement party and the room was full of color and life as everyone rejoiced in celebrating with the couple.

Alelia & Patrick Wedding Near the Sea

This particular bride and myself actually share a bit of history together. We were long time friends in junior high school that lost contact with one another after graduation. And can you believe after all these years that we reconnected last year through Facebook? Facebook is amazing to bring us back together for such a great occasion!

I was ecstatic to hear of the news that she found her prince charming. It took me back to the times we were in school and how we shared everything. Then the time came when I was honored by her request to plan her wedding. She was not only my client but my friend so I made sure everything was perfect.
