Mandy & Dave Central Park Wedding

When I received an email from Mandy Harris about doing a wedding in July at Central Wedding I was thrilled. Mandy didn’t ask for much, she just wanted something elegant and beautiful.

Mandy and Dave Taggart both visited Central Park on New Year’s Eve while on vacation and she immediately fell in love with the park. She knew at that very moment it would be the place she'll be having her wedding.

Mandy resided in California and needed someone to assist in her planning process. I scheduled conference call after conference call to make sure Mandy was comfortable with each one of my vendors.

They were a very fun couple to work with. I felt the LOVE while we traveled to the Marriage Bureau a few days before their wedding.

I did not have to worry about photography because they flew in a great friend of theirs Chet Frohlich whose work speaks for itself as you will see through every detailed photo.

Every detail was in place. My girls from DeVenir Beauty did both Mandy and her sister Shelby's hair and makeup. The flowers were designed by Dyker Heights Floral to perfection. The bride’s grand entrance was played by Venus Ensemble Musician's. The ceremony was ministered by Reverend Ann Corbett. Then to close the evening off my cake baker Erika of Chic Sugars designed a beautiful wedding cake for the couple.

Tricia & Nigel Roberts Wedding

Shanelle's Thoughts:

Tricia Roberts wedding was one of my most talked about weddings. I bonded with Tricia from day one. We talked daily through email and over the phone. I held her hand throughout the entire process. She gave me a better perspective on having fun while planning.

She added a bit of flavor to her wedding by incorporating her culture. As a surprise to her groom she wore a traditional Sari and came out to do a dance. Everyone were in awe!!

Check out the smile on her face throughout the pictures. You gotta love this woman!

And all of her vendors showed the same amount of dedication throughout the day. Come and check out the photos taken by the wonderful Jose Reyes!

Manuel's Thoughts:

When I first met Nigel and Tricia Roberts, I had but one word to describe them, and that was authenticity. Their love for each other is authentic, it is too real. The moment I was introduced to Tricia, she made me feel comfortable, as though I had known her for years. When she explained how Nigel and her met, it was like fate or destiny. Though most of us believe we make our own but this couple had a force pulling them together that was bigger then our own.

The professional and personal level with this couple was strategized with organization, communication and trust. The little details meant the most to Tricia and that was what I concentrated on the most. The little details made the biggest significance on their wedding day.

Details strategized and executed. I enjoyed working with this couple because they were completely different from one another, but yet complimented each other well. Thank You Nigel and Tricia, I learned from you that the most important thing in life is to learn how to release love, and accept it when it comes in.
