Melinda Weekes and Sekou Laidlow Wedding at Buttermilk Falls

The first time I spoke to Melinda felt like an old friendship that was rekindled.  We spoke for hours of her relationship, her church ministry and her desire to have a beautiful wedding at Buttermilk Falls In in Hudson Valley with her fiancĂ© Sekou Laidlow.  Her energy is high and spirit so sweet.  People like her making planning easy.  She was determined to get all of the desires of her heart and the Lord had blessed her with that and so much more.

The wedding planning process was a breeze because Melinda was highly detailed like me and loved organization.  Everything was well thought out and all of her family and friends were available to lend a helping hand.  Every person I met spoke so highly of both Melinda and Sekou and they wanted the day to be perfect so they were all eager to help with any assignment given.

As the wedding day approached, I was in full gear to make sure it was a success.  Kenson Noel took some amazing shots.  Melinda was a total of the box thinker when she came up with the idea of having a two part reception.  One was held in the early afternoon and the second part was in the evening.  She even had Clark + Walker Studio do a video on the same day edit for those guests that were unable to attend the ceremony. The video was simply amazing just like the wedding.

Thank you Melinda and Sekou for allowing me to assist you in the planning process of your wedding.  I pray that the Lord will forever be the head in your marriage.  God Bless You.

Move to the Rhythm with Erica and Jeremy

Being a witness to the development of this couple’s relationship has held a special place in my heart when asked to plan their wedding.  Jeremy used to work with ICS from the start of my company.  I remember him being so kind, respectful and a having a heart of servitude.  We would stand together and talk about weddings with so much passion and excitement when our time would come.  Erica was always so loving, friendly and had the same heart of servitude.  It was fate for these two to be joined as one.  It was as though they both moved to the rhythm of the same beat that would continue throughout the years.  This is a couple I’ve shared a relationship from the beginning.  I was a witness to watching their relationship grow as a couple by seeing how much they added to one another’s lives.  Their love is so harmonious and contagious; you cannot help but feel all lovey dovey.

Once the day approached, I was so consumed with emotions because I truly love both of them.  I was overjoyed to see these two become one by having the wedding of a lifetime shared with their family and friends.  The love and blessings overflowed the reception hall from every smile to the unending blessings that filled the reception hall.  God has stretched forth his hands by covering this couple and the day was beautiful.

Thank you Erica and Jeremy for choosing me to be a part of your joyous day.  It meant a lot to me my dear friends and I will always love you two.
