2010 NY Daily Newspaper Features

Oh this has been a great year for ICS.  We had some wonderful brides and worked with some dynamic vendors and beautiful venues.

And to top it off we were excited to be contacted by the NY Daily Newspaper to feature some of our brides in their paper.  Our couples Ramon & Ana Santos, Keno & Natalie Edwards along with Paul & Natasha Coles were featured.

There was a two weekend spread first on the widely celebrated 10/10/10 wedding date ran through the press on 10.10.10 and continuing on 10.17.10.  The second feature was posted on 10.31.10. The last feature was 12.26.10.  It's a wonderful way to end the year.

The first wedding featured were the beautiful couple Ana Rodriguez and Ramon Emilio Santos.  The photographer Richard Reynoso of Greenhood Studios was able to give us a sneak peak photo of their wedding.  So please return back to see the entire layout of their wedding soon.

I was talking to one of the editors over at the NY Daily News Patty Lee one day and she alerted me that they would be posting Natalie Prince & Keno Edwards wedding in the paper.  How exciting.  Natalie's wedding was at the Surf Club.  Here is a recap of her wedding posted on my blog http://icbyshanelle.blogspot.com/2010/06/natalie-keno-edwards-wedding.html

And then to my surprise I receive a message for the lovely bride Natasha Coles (who could forgot that gorgeous smile) that she was contacted from Elyse Inamine to inform Natasha that her wedding would be featured on 12.26.10 (the day after Christmas).  What a wonderful gift to receive for Christmas! You can receive a recap of their wedding on my blog http://icbyshanelle.blogspot.com/2010/07/natasha-and-paul-coles-wedding.html

Dolores & Lorenzo Ammons Wedding

What a delightful time I had working with Dolores and Lorenzo. They made me feel right at home by welcoming into their circle of friends. And can you believe this girl can throw down in the kitchen! She didn’t know the way to my heart is through my belly. Ladies you can learn something from Dolores! I was referred to Dolores from my past bride Tricia Roberts so I knew this bride would be fun! The wedding day was beautiful. I nearly cried when her Sorority Sisters sung to her.  It all turned out great. Congratulations to the wonderful couple!

Dolores wedding was ceremony St. Athansius Church in the Bronx and her reception was held in The Fountainhead.

Ana & Ramon The Perfect Score Couple

10/10/10 was truly a special date for Ana & Ramon. Their relationship was formed ten years ago and they also have a ten year age different. They are the perfect, hot couple is so many ways. I immediately fell in love with the couple from day one. They had a wonderful support team of church members and family members to help everyday until their wedding. Once the wedding day came it was just one huge Dominican celebration and everything went as planned for the beautiful day!

Enjoy!

Jaclyn Romano & Matthew Simmons Wedding

Isn’t it everyone woman’s dream to have their wedding in a castle? Well, Jaclyn didn’t expect it but it happened for her at Lyndhurst Castle located in Tarrytown. NY.

Jaclyn and Matt are the perfect couple. So much fun to be around and full of life and plenty of laughter. They are well organized team that like to have everything running smoothly and on time. My kind of couple!

The floral décor was setup by Thomas Prudence. The wedding was catered by Le Moulin Catering. Joysanne’s cuisines were deliciously prepared and the layered cake by Make My Cake. And the guests danced with the Thomson Kneeland Band. And lastly who would be able to capture the beauty of the wedding no other than Yura of Lux Photos.

Ana Maria Sosa and Robert Aguilar Fiesta Wedding

Arriba Los Novios to Ana Maria and Robert! They were a great couple to work with from the beginning to end. Many people know how I love cultural weddings. I get to learn about my client’s cultural background and meet many colorful personalities. Ana Maria and Rob are Mexican and there was plenty for me to learn for the ceremony then to the reception. They enjoyed teaching me and I loved being taught!

Ana Maria and Robert were looking for an incredible photographer to capture their wedding day and what they love NEW YORK CITY LIFE!! I had the perfect photographer in mind. Indigo Foto was the right match. The photos above are from their engagement photos I couldn’t resist to post. The photographer captured the wonderful thrills of the couple's relationship.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn.
Their wedding was unbelievably fun from the DJ Willie Cruz mixing the beats then to the band of Brisas Surenas having the crowd stepping hard to the floor! When Ana Maria told she wanted to party she wasn’t lying about it.

This was one bride I saw stay in her heels the entire night. The moment she stepped onto Giando's On the Water she never stopped dancing.

Everyone please enjoy the photos below:
