Cruising with Ndidi and Vincent

Who would of thought two powerful attorneys would be so relax and cool planning their wedding. I’ve worked with a few attorneys but none compared to Ndidi Oriji and Vincent Southerland. They were so laid back, calm, and fun - I loved it! They also introduced something to me “A Non-traditional Wedding”! I was shocked knowing that Ndidi is Nigerian and Vincent is African American. Most of my Nigerian brides stick with most of the traditions so I could not wait to see the wedding day. All of my brides know, I am all about traditions but I was able to let go for this one day. And I survived and I loved replacing the wedding cake with the bride’s favorite pies from Bubby’s!

From all of the heavily detailed emails to the couple’s endless traveling (and me waiting for responses when they return), the wedding day was finally here. Everything they wanted they received.

All of the couple’s requests were simple and easy to design and create. We designed the floral arrangements exactly the way the couple envisioned even with last minute arrangements of the chalkboard timeline, my coordinator Manuel snapping photos for the photo album and to my assistant Rochelle helping the guests locate their escort cards off of the chart.

Working with Kenan at MyMoon was a pleasure. He was very accommodating to the couple’s needs. Susan Shek captured some wonderful moments of their wedding. Enjoy the photos.

Thank you Ndidi and Vincent for allowing ICS to plan your wedding. It was a pleasure to work for you.
